In my search to find great cool toned, slightly lavender leaning shades for a recent video I did, I came across this recommendation by Amanda Z on Youtube. It’s the Neker Veilayer Cheek liquid blush in the shade Dolcetto Lavender. Is it any good?
I don’t know much about Neker as a brand, but this liquid blush is available in 6 shades. As I am writing this review the product is currenlty out of stock on Yesstyle but it says it should be back, so here’s to hoping it will be so soon, because this is a stunning and easy to use little blush.

Another thing I love about this blush is how affordable it is. This blush is available in 6 shades and retails for a mere €7. For a liquid blush that is very affordable indeed and it just goes to show how affordable K-beauty brands can be. This product is lightweight and easy to use and well worth the €7 price tag if you were to ask me.
What does this liquid blush have to offer?
This liquid blush is a lightweight texture that allows you to blend it in seamlessly for a blushy look, but withouth making yourself look like a clown. It has a satin matte finish, isn’t overly glowy and gives a slight pop of color to the cheek. It has a buildable formula that allow you to add more as you go to create the desired look. This is best applied straight from the doe foot and then blend with fingers.
What does this product look like in a swatch?
It may seem like the product is overloaded on the doe foot, but it really isn’t. You need quite a few dots as this can be sheered out beautifully. What I love especially about this blush is the shade. Is this as lavender as it gets? No, but it is a rosy pink with cooler, purple undertone for sure. It’s been a great winter pick for me as my pale skin just can’t handle too much and this has been perfect for creating that fresh, natural cheek look.
What does this look like on the cheeks?
On the cheeks this gives a slightly blurred effect but the shade is beautifuly on. You can use the perfect amount for the best results every time and it just looks great with many different looks. The ease of use means I have been choosing this over some of the powder options in my current Shop My Stash which is saying something. I just love the way this looks, the way this wears and the way it applies.
Should you buy the Neker Veilayer Cheek liquid blush?
I think this blush is a stunning one. The shade Dolcetto Lavender is perfect for this time of year and I love the way it looks on the skin. It’s not as cool toned and lavender/ purple as the name would suggest but it’s still a stunning option for people looking for a cool toned pink that is great for fair skin tones. I would classify this as a cool toned rosy pink and I love how easy it is to use. Add in the affordability of the product and I think we have a product that is an absolute steal.
