What do you do when you find a liquid blush at the UK drugstore that looks like it might dupe the Glossier Cloud Paint? You buy it, try it and review it. Say hello to the MUA Blushed Liquid Cream blush.

This cheap and cheerful offering has been around for a while, but when I visited the UK last year, this had just launched. And when products are first out they can be impossible to find. So I was able to find testers, but none of the shades I wanted were in stock at the time. This time, they were, they were on offer and so I picked up three! Let’s review it.
Review: MUA Blushed Liquid Cream Blush Dusky Rose, Razzleberry & Watermelon
We’re kicking things off with one of the best parts about this product: the price point. At just €3.60 this is a steal. Especially if we compare it to the product this is obviously styled after: the Glossier Cloud Paint are €25 a pop. Luckily both Glossier and MUA are widely available as Glossier now ships internationally from their website and I was able to find MUA on Notino.
What does this blush have to offer?

The MUA Blushed liquid blush is a liquid blush that is available in 7 shades to add some color to the face while giving a slight glow. This is a multi-use product as it can be used on the lips. It is recommended to use this with fingers. It should blend easily and is richly pigmented. Very much like the Glossier Cloud Paints indeed!
What do these blushes look like on the cheeks?

Here you can see the blush sitting on my skin. Each shade has a bit of glow while also packing a punch pigment wise. Dusky Rose is by far my favorite: this cool toned mauve pink is a great neutral option that goes with everything. Razzleberry is for a more vibrant/ intense moment, while Watermelon is a lot o more wearable than I had expected.
How do these perform on the cheeks?

The recommendation to use these with fingers I think is spot on. The best way to use this is to squeeze out a pea sized amount onto the back of your hand and then tapping it onto the cheeks. It blends easily and creates a great flushed look.
In terms of performance these last all day for me and these don’t fade. Overall I find the experience of using these very similar to the Glossier but the shades are quite different. Not only does Glossier have 10 shades, they also do some more interesting undertones and unique shades.
Should you buy the MUA Blushed Liquid blush?

If you can find these: I would say run don’t walk! These are stunning and I have happy to own these. I would definitely pick up more shades if the brand comes out with more shades that appeal to me. The formula is great, the blendability is great and the wear time is great.
The only drawback I can think of is the shade range: it is very warm and quite orange leaning overall, making plenty of the shades a little samey. But if they release more cool tones, I know I would snatch some more up in a heartbeat. This is cheap, cheerful and just as good as the high end version. Comparison swatches are coming as soon as I have time to film some more shorts again!
