Another month has passed, which means it is time to show you the makeup products I used this past month. In September I was nearly done trying out all the new goodies I bought over the past few months and of course received an amazing package in the swap with Stashy, so I have plenty more to try. I have been trying a few things so far and I love everything so far, but I will be playing around with some more of those products in October. Today we’re looking back at September and what I used then. shop my stash september 2018

Shop my Stash | September 2018

This month, I have a bit of a twist to offer you on the usual, before we are going on to the list of products I used. Because I did a video on Sunday in which I showed you almost all of these products going on! So if you would like to see how these all applied and how I use them to create my makeup look, then make sure to click here and watch Sunday’s video!

Smashbox Primerizer primer – These past few weeks I have been using my Primerizer mini. So far I am loving it, but I am running out of it very quickly. And since this primer is quite expensive, I don’t think I will be repurchasing it as I have gotten similar effects with much cheaper primers.

Milani eyeshadow primer – Does this need any more introduction? I have been using this eyeshadow primer for months. Still love it. Still gets the job done. It is about to run out soon I think.

Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua foundation – The foundation of choice this past month was the Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua foundation. After trying the Essence foundation, I decided to go back to this and try using it up as it felt as if it was almost gone.

Maybelline Age Rewind concealer – Concealer wise I finally got around to using this concealer. I love the product, but I hate the packaging! So I am very torn as to whether I will repurchase it. I am also running out of it quite quickly, so I after giving some other concealers a shot earlier this month, I have now decided to keep using it for October to see how it will last.

Catrice All Matt Plus powder Universal – This white powder is sadly still not the best for me. In my review that went live last spring, I said that I was hoping it worked better in the summer months. It does. It certainly makes my face look less cakey than in the winter time, but I have found that this is too white. It simply is a straight up white powder and if it already washes me out, then I don’t know how it could be right for anyone else.

Maybelline Brow Satin brow pencil & Essence Make Me Brow brow gel – My brow combo also hasn’t changed. I am a bit sick of the pencil by now, but the brow gel is my holy grail for a reason. Still want to try the Benefit Gimme Brow which this is supposed to dupe.

Urban Decay Beached Bronzer – This bronzer was a bit of a surprise to me. I hadn’t used it in a while and I LOVED IT! It is a bit more of a red toned bronzer and it worked really well on my post summer skin.

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Prismatic Amethyst – One of my favorite highlight shades is one with a purple undertone. The ultimate one? This one.

Kiko Shade Fusion Blush 05 Marsala – This month was one of favorites, because I also used one of my favorite blushes. This is one of my ultimate blush shades. It is natural, it is pretty and it wears well.

MAC Paint Pot Painterly & The Body Shop eyeshadow no. 13 – My double primer combo is this. So I used the Milani primer to make sure my shadow sticks, but I use this to block out lid color and to make sure I have a good base to blend my shadows on top.

Morphe X Jaclyn Hill Vault – One of the new eyeshadow palettes I tried this month was the Morphe Jacly Hill Vault. I had a great time playing with these shadows and love the unique color combos this has. These aren’t the best shadows I have ever tried, but they are very workable and I enjoy working with them.

L’Oreal False Lash Effect mascara & Essence Volume Hero waterproof mascara – My mascara combo this month was fun while it lasted. I opened one of my favorite mascaras by L’Oreal so there is no surprise there that I would like that. But the Essence mascara was a bit of a let down. It worked well, but it dried out so quickly and that made the mascara unworkable.

Lise Watier Rouge Gourmand Velvet lipstick Zinfadel – The first products I tried from my swap with Stashy were the Lise Watier lipsticks and I have been loving them! They are so pretty. They are matte, but comfy and they last really well too. Yup, I am loving these.

Catrice Prime & Fine Setting spray – I also changed up my setting spray. I had this lying about for such a long time, but didn’t really feel like using it. But I really like it now that I have been using it consistently. So a good thing that I finally caved and broke into this bottle.
