Shop My Stash|July 2018

It is time for a new Shop my Stash! It’s the last Tuesday of the month and that means it is time to show you again the makeup that I used. I used lots of different products again and since the weather was sweltering hot, I definitely used some different products. And I hit pan again! This time on my MAC Paintpot! Woohoo! Here is the makeup I wore in the month of July.

Shop my Stash | July 2018

Juvia’s Place The Zula eyeshadow palette – One of my favorite eyeshadow palettes I tried last month is this super bright and fun number. The Zulu palette comes with 9 shades and it is a bright palette with a pop of neutral. If you click the link, you can see a look I did with this palette. I have posting quite a few looks on Instagram these days as I have set myself the task to master halo eyes and cut creases by the end of this vacation. So follow me @indiequeen84, if you want to see more.

Mac Paintpot Painterly & The Body Shop eyeshadow no. 13 – Where would we be in a Shop My Stash without this combo heh? It’s still here, still going strong and as I mentioned: I have hit pan on Painterly! Holy smokes! I never thought I’d see the day.

Catrice Glam & Doll Waterproof mascara & Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Lashes – This was my mascara combo for this month as well. This mini of the Charlotte Tilbury mascara lasted really well and I just used it up as I am writing this. I liked it, but it is quite smudgy, so I will not be getting a full size of this.

Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil bronzer – For cheeks, I went back to an old school combo of which this bronzer is an essential part. I used this as a contour. That’s right, I am back into contouring. Who’d have thought?!

Laura Geller French Vanilla & Portofino highlighter – A highlighter I have been loving this month is this Laura Geller number. I bought this, wasn’t wowed initially and so it got shoved down the priority list. I decided to bust it out this month and oh my I was so wrong about this. Just goes to show that first impressions aren’t everything.

Too Faced Love Flush Blush How Deep Is Your Love – My blush pick this month is a fun bright watermelon shade. I love these bright shades for the summer time. I initially busted out my Rival de Loop Pink Grapefruit blush, but then figured, I hadn’t really given this a fair chance yet. Loved it all month!

Hourglass Ambient Lighting powder Radiant Light – The other part of my OG cheek combo is this face powder that is about 5 shades too dark for me. This is such a pretty bronzer on me! I love this in the summer time as it has a pretty glow to it and it has been perfect for giving that healthy glowy look to the face.

Maybelline Dream Cushion foundation – A product I hadn’t been trying much, but I decided to bust out when I needed a bit more coverage is this. So far I’m liking it, but I have only been wearing this on certain parts of my face and not all over and only occasionally, so I cannot review this yet.

Urban Decay Naked Skin concealer – The base product that I have been using is this. Since the weather has been absolutely bonkers this summer (hello heatwave!), I have been going in with a much lighter base. I used to use a BB cream for that purpose, but I ran out of my favorite by The Body Shop and when I went to repurchase it, I found that has been discontinued. So I resorted to my other way of doing a lightweight base: a lightweight concealer on the areas I need it most topped off with a bit of the Maybelline foundation and we’re good to go.

Catrice Light Correcting Serum primer – For primer I also wanted something lightweight and this was something I was already trying to use up as I love it a lot, but it also doesn’t come with a boatload of product. Meaning I thought it wouldn’t take long to use up. I am nearly there, I have just a couple of uses left and Catrice just came out with a new shade of this primer that I am really excited to try out.

Maybelline Brow Satin – A brow product I love and this is a repurchase. I still like it and will be using it until it runs out.

Bobbi Brown Pressed powder – Another month and again this powder. I am so close to using this up and I am still fed up with it. But I will soldier on again and try to use it up this next month.

Milani eyeshadow primer – Another repeat from previous months. You know I like using an eyeshadow primer until it runs out before breaking into a new one, so this is still here for a few more months.

Essence Make Me Brow brow gel – My all time favorite brow gel. Nuff said.

Colourpop Ultra Satin liquid lipstick Echo Park – Liquid lipstick had a real moment in my makeup routine this month. I am all about a longlasting lipstick look and on a hot day there is nothing that stays put better than a liquid lipstick. I rediscovered this shade in my stash, when I did my Nude Lipstick Collection video. I decided to bust it out straightaway.

What makeup have you been wearing?

Would be a bit extravagant if I were to buy a complete full face of makeup every month!
