A few weeks ago, I decided to declutter my wardrobe. It was spring break, I had plenty of time and so it was the right moment for me to go through my clothes and sort them out. I owned so many items that I liked the idea of but was no longer wearing. Either because they no longer fit me, had become old and tatty, or because they simply no longer suited my style. I decided to sort through everything and take you along for the ride.
Wardrobe declutter
I ended up getting rid of 4 trash bags filled with stuff! That is a lot of clutter that had gathered over the years. Right now I look at my wardrobe and only see items I like. There is no rhyme or reason to my decluttering system. I don’t do KonMari, but I simply have my own system. I already knew I wanted to get rid of a few things, but others I decided on the spot. I also kept a handful of items to try on and I ended up getting rid of most of those as well. In the end, I gave three items a new home in my wardrobe as they were too seasonal or different to really be in my everyday wardrobe.
