FLOATING IN DREAMS

Wooohoo! Yep it’s been 2 years. Two years since I decided to start this blog on a dreary September evening. At the time I didn’t even know how long it would last. I didn’t know what to write about or what I wanted my posts to look like or to be about. I just started writing about those things I love most in life: music, shopping, nail polish, make up, clothes, my job, language, movies, books and anything else I came across that I wanted to share. And that’s what I’ve been doing ever since.

I try to switch it up as much as I can, with something different to write about on a daily basis. It means this blog has no focus, no theme, or you should consider myself a theme. I like that. I don’t want this to be a beauty blog. I don’t want it to be a music blog. I don’t want it to be a fashion blog. I don’t want it to be a language blog. Because I don’t have one interest that sparks up above all others. I go through phases with a few constants (the main ones being nail polish and music) and so you will find more posts on language one month, and the other it’s more about shoplogs. I just take it as it goes.

Daily posts are my goal, but I don’t always manage. Life simply gets in the way sometimes. With my new job it still remains to be seen how much I can keep up my daily schedule. It will be interesting to see how that will work out. Regardless of all that, it’s always nice to see people commenting on posts, subscribing to my page or to see how many people have read my post for the day. And that is why I thought we’d celebrate 2 years of Floating in Dreams together! Scroll down to found out more!

To celebrate 2 years of Floating in Dreams I am not getting my own domain, nor am I trying to branch out. It’s a hobby and that’s what I want it to be and what it should remain. I would hate having to put advertorials up here to try and make a living. I feel those endeavors would always stand in the way of my freedom of writing. So no can do. Instead, I thought it would be fun to have a small giveaway.
