A few days ago I sorted through 500+ songs to find what I liked and what I didn’t like. My instant favorite from the bunch is this song by The Daylight Braves. It’s called Summer at Last and definitely better suited for warmer and sunnier weather. But I like listening to summer songs when temperatures are dropping and dark days are upon us. It provides me with a bit of summer even though it’s still months away. So without further ado:
My favorite bit: the little guitar riff. It is also a favorite because it reminds me of summer beaches, vacation and Los Angeles. Seeing how I just booked my vacations for 2012 I’m all in the mood for thinking of vacay, so here’s to a great year and let’s hope it will bring more sunshine than 2011!
