Another autumn inspired post. As I’m totally digging fall colors right now, and I made pumpkin soup the other day, I thought it would be apt to have a pumpkin inspired color on my nails. This is the result:
Products used:
– Etos nail hardener extra strong
– China Glaze Life Preserver
– Catrice Rusty but Sexy
– Seche Vite Fast Drying Top Coat
As you can tell I used two colors. I first painted my nails with China Glaze Life Preserver as it is cream nail polish in a burnt, warm toned orange color. But I thought that looked too boring, so I wanted to add a bit of shine to it and found Catrice Rusty but Sexy lying around in my stash and decided to see what would happen if I put it over the China Glaze polish. It worked out really well! Rusty but Sexy is a shiny orange/ rust colored polish with a hint of gold to it. What happened was that Life Preserver darkens up Rusty but Sexy ever so slightly, making for a perfect pumpkin orange color.
