I thought it would be time to show you some more items that I’ve bought. This time, it’s not clothes, but beauty and make up products. Here’s what I bought:

John Frieda: Sheer Blonde Conditioner, Go Blonder Shampoo, Root Awakening Shampoo & Go Blonder Lightening Spray

I’ve been curious about John Frieda products for a while. I never bought them because a) I had a foray of shampoos and conditioners lying around that I had to use up first. And b) I thought it was rather expensive. So, the other week a Dutch drugstore had all John Frieda products on offer: buy 2 get 50% off. That and the fact that my supply of shampoo is nearly gone, made me stock up on this. I’ve already used the lightening spray, but it could take 3-5 uses before you see anything. I will post reviews on my experiences once I get some uses out of it.

OPI nail polishes: Cozu-melted in the Sun, Chicago Champagne Toast, Mauving to Manitoba, Meet me on the Star Ferry

I spotted these colors months ago, but I had told myself: no more nail polishes. I rearranged some of my polishes, creating more space and voila I’ve started filling it up as soon as I could. As of late I’ve totally been digging mauve colors and these all go nicely with that kick. My fave has to be cozu-melted in the sun as it has the best sparkle!

Essence: Red-y to Go & In Style, Koh: Seaweed

Red-y to go is a pinky toned red, whereas In Style is a teal color with some blue sparkle. Very nice colors that immediately caught my eye. At only 1.29 a piece I couldn’t pass up on these. I bought the Koh polish to match the fall trend of wearing forest green colors. It’s a perfect creamy forest green, without shimmer or glitter and goes on lighter than in the bottle. It’s exactly what I was looking for.

Sleek Nude Collection: Au Naturel I-Divine Palette

My latest pride and joy. As you may remember I’m all for neutral colored eyeshadows. So when I saw Sleek had this palette out, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. Review coming up asap!

NYX: The Runway Collection – Champagne & Caviar Palette

I have a bunch of NYX single shadows and one trio, but I’d never tried any of their palettes. Since I’m a sucker for neutral shades, I got curious after watching swatches online. It has some great browns and taupes. If I like it I may devote its own post to it some time soon as well.

So, there you have it. My latest haul.

Q: Which item would you be curious about?
