Color Series: Taupe eyeshadow

Taupe is one of my favorite colors in makeup and clothing (even in my home decor). While taupe may seem boring, I think of it as one of the most versatile neutrals. Because it is a blend of a brown and a grey it goes with everything. It can be warm toned if it leans more brown/ gold and it can be cool toned if it leans more grey/ silver. And then many brands add a touch of pink, rose gold, purple/ mauve or sometimes even a hint of green to shades like this. It is the perfect in between, one and done and therefore very wearable shade of eyeshadow.

In this video I share my top 18 favorites (and that’s not even all I have or love). But there is a bit here for everyone. Some things may be discontinued, but I include both high end and more affordable things, satin finish, mattes, super shiny and glittery picks. There are drugstore brands, luxury makeup, indie picks as well as shades from singles and palettes. So depending on what you like and what you are looking for you will find something here. Hope you enjoy!
