To round out my declutters for 2026 it is time to declutter my shoe collection. Shoes are my main love when it comes to fashion items. To me, they are the ultimate accessory that round out any and every outfit I wear. So I love having a variety of styles and colors. But in recent years I have found that life is too short for shoes that are too uncomfortable. So it is time to declutter and reorganize my shoe collection.
Yes I know this is more shoes than one person needs. But I have had the same shoe size since I was 12 years old and some of these shoes go back decades. So this didn’t happen overnight, I mainly shop sales and when I find a style I like, I tend to buy it in multiple colors. I spent some time the past few years finding a pair of sandals I can walk miles in and now that I have found that, I feel I have a solid enough collection. There isn’t much on the wishlist anymore when it comes to the shoes I currently have. From calf high boots, to Chelsea boots and fun sneakers to a classic derby, oxford, loafer and mary jane: I know what I like and wear that into oblivion. These are my shoes.
