Are you looking for interesting shimmers? Shimmers that add that extra sparkle to any eye look, go with anything, are easy to use AND don’t break the bank? Look no further because the Joocyee glitter eyeshadow do just that! These single shadows come in different formulas. The glitter one is my fave, but their metallic and smoky shades are also gorgeous. Here is my review.

From what I can tell these two shades aren’t both listed as glitter eyeshadow, in my book these are both very sparkly. One is a bit chunkier and one it a bit smoother so depending on what you prefer, I have something here for everyone. The chunkier one is called D114 and the smoother more metallic one is MT122. I could not longer find MT122 on the Yesstyle but other places that sell C-beauty may still have it.
Review: Joocyee Glitter Eyeshadow review D114 & MT122
Joocyee is a brand I found through Yesstyle last year. I was looking for new to try Asian beauty prodcuts and Yesstyle is my go to when it comes to all things Japanese, Korean and Chinese beauty brands. Joocyee is a C-beauty brand (so they are Chinese) and they are a great way of showcasing that if you cut out the middle man you can buy amazing quality makeup at an affordable price point. These singles are as good as most indie brands, but these retail for around €7. That is a steal for the type of formulas that are in here.
What do these eyeshadows have to offer?

Both these eyeshadows are beautiful, sparkly and dimensional. They would make for great accent colors or just that extra bit of sparkle to liven up any eye look. That’s how I feel shades like this are used in most Asian makeup looks: a softly sculpted eye with a sparkly shimmer on top. Easy, breezy and yet impactful.
What I like about these so much is how easy they are to use. They can be picked up with brushes or your fingers with extra intensity. When blending you can create a more diffused sparkly look or a more intense opaque look. These feel rich and creamy in texture but not to the point where they crease. These do have a bit of grit to them, but this isn’t noticeable once applied.
What do these shadows look like swatched?

In a swatch these eyeshadows really come to live. I would recommend using fingers with these as that is what will give you the most impact. D114 is a shifty pink to silver sparkly shade that is very dimensional and my favorite of the two. MT122 looks like a straight up silver, but has a periwinkle flash that looks like stars bursting apart. Also very special and beautiful.
What makes these shadows special?
What I like about these so much is the interesting formula. If you are familiar with indie brands such as Glaminatrix and Bella Beauté Bar they are known for their special shimmers. Often times, these palettes are more expensive depending on what shimmer quality you get in the palette. But did you know many indie brands manufacture their shadows in China? Nothing wrong with that, but it is my belief that if I buy from Chinese brands I am cutting out the middleman: I get the same amazing quality, but at a very different price point.
Should you buy the Joocyee single eyeshadow?
I think you will love these shadows if you love a bit of glittery and glam. If you are a magpie like me and you can’t resist a bit of sparkle to amp up your look, shades like this are a must have. The fact that they are singles means you can pick the exact shades you like and if you have just one of these you will have enough shadow to see you through for some time. So while a love a good palette, singles like this will just go with everything and pull any look together no matter what you’ve created. So yes, buy these if you like the look of them, because this is some of the best eyeshadow I have ever tried.
