Sydney Grace Wondrous Knight review

Welcome to eyeshadow palette month! It is August and this month I always chose to tell you all about my palette collection. So in honor of today being August 1st and being the start of Palette Month I figured I could review not a palette, but a beautiful single eyeshadow for you. This is Sydney Grace Wondrous Knight.

Wondrous Knight was originally launched as part of the Autumn Reign bundle, but was later added to the permanent collection due to popular demand. It is described as a metallic taupe and it most certainly is. Sydney Grace is one of my favorite brands for single shadows, so that’s why I wanted to showcase this in more detail.

Review: Sydney Grace Wondrous Knight single eyeshadow

Sydney Grace as a brand isn’t super expensive. They are an indie brand based in California and that does mean it can get expensive to buy if you are not in the US. It’s why I only buy from them sparingly. But this single is beautiful and worth placing an order for no matter where you live. At $6. 25, it is not the most expensive single either and yet it has a lot of impact.

What does this shadow have to offer?

This shade is only available as a single now. This means it comes in an envelope and you will need an empty palette to hold this in place once you get it home. That’s a bit of a downside, but if you collect some singles over time, you will enjoy the possibilities it can give you to build your own color stories. Wondrous Knight is a standout shade, because it is a taupe (my favorite shade), it is a metallic (my favorite finish) and it is by Sydney Grace (my favorite single shadow brand).

What does this eyeshadow look like?

You can see here that the label metallic is no lie. Wondrous Knight is a great lid shade that can be used as a one and done, but it will look great with many other shades as well to create the full look. The metallic finish means this has shine and impact even from a distance. Overall, I think this is one of the best shades by the brand and therefore it deserved a dedicated review. Get this if you want a stunner of a single shadow.
