This year Fenty Beauty released two excellent new lip products: a lip oil and a shimmer extension to their Gloss Bomb Stix. I love a lip oil and when it comes in a unique shade I am game. The shimmer lipstick is a bit out of my comfort zone but still something I wanted to try. Let’s review the Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb lip oil and the Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Stix.
So this review will be a two for one. I bought the lip oil in Rose Amber, which is described as a sparkling cool taupe brown. I bought the gloss stick in Fussy (spelled Fu$$y on the website), which is described as a shimmering dusty pink. I was able to pick both shades out in store which was helpful. The shimmer is definitely something that intimidated me at first, but now that I have tested these out it is growing on me more and more.

So both products have a slightly different price point. The lip oil retails for €27 and the gloss stick retails for €24. Both are available through Sephora or the official Fenty Beauty website. When I went to the UK was able to find them in store and swatch them out before deciding to purchase.
What does these have to offer.
The lip oil is showcased on the left and it was brought back after it was limited edition. It has multidimensional shimmer, while adding all the lip nourishing ingredients you could want. It is non-sticky and promises to last a full workday. The gloss stick is showcased on the right. It is promoted as a lip gloss and lipstick hybrid. It packs shine while adding color and a great moisturizing formula. It has medium pigmentation and lasts a full workday.
What do these look like in a swatch?
As you can see, both products pack a lot of shimmer. And I lived through the 00s, which meant lots of sparkle and shimmer so I was afraid that this would be just like it. They are not. Rose Amber is a beautiful cool toned brown that by itself just looks like a neutral on the lips. Fussy is very pretty on the lips, the shimmer does stand out a bit more and when the color fades the shimmer does stay behind a little bit too much.
What do these look like on the lips?
On the lips these look beautiful. They feel comfortable and are super nourishing. These apply easily, can be reapplied without a mirror if need be and the shades go with nearly everything. Rose Amber has been my favorite as it is a bit more unique. I didn’t think a new lip oil would add much to my collection, but it truly has. Fussy is beautiful too, but once applied I feel it is the most similar to other things I already own.
Should you buy the Fenty Beauty new lips?
I love both ot fhese. Rose Amber is great for wearing by itself but I have also been topping it over some other combos and I love that too. Fussy is a great shade that pairs so well with everything. Both of these surprised me as I didn’t expect to like the shimmers as much as I do. These are beautiful, longwearing and nourishing on the lips.
