The Milani Color Fetish lipsticks were a formula I wanted to try, but they are a) quite expensive for me to buy and b) quite hard to get. So it took me a while to hop on board. These are the balm version of the lipstick (there is also a matte version that I also enjoy), which means they are the sheerer sisters in the line. This is my review of the Milani Color Fetish Balm lipstick.
These lipsticks are available in 12 shades and today I am showcasing two of them: Voyeur, a bright pink and Kink, a bright purple. These are a sheer formula lipstick that still have a lot of payoff and impact, so these two bright colorful shades were really the standouts for me.

Milani has different price points depending on where you are located. For me these retails for around €12.95 a piece, which for a drugstore lipstick isn’t exactly affordable. Milani in Europe is definitely at the higher end of the drugstore spectrum. I can get these from Douglas or in the UK from Superdrug or Boots. But Milani is sold in other places online as well.
What does these lipsticks have to offer?
You can see how vibrant these shades are. Voyeur is a super bright, hot pink. Kink is a purple. Now most purple lipsticks will look a bit more pink on the lips, but this is a very pretty sheer purple. This is supposed be a hybrid between a balm and a lipstick. It offers hydration while having buildable color while being shiny like a gloss.
What do these look like in a swatch?
As you can see in this picture Voyeur is much more opaque than Kink is, yet Kink is my favorite of the two. It is simply more unique. Voyeur is a hot pink like many other hot pinks and I even have shades like it in my collection. Kink is a bit more unique and makes for a great cool toned pick if that’s what you are looking for.
What do these look like on the lips?
In these images you can see the difference between the shades even better. Kink definitely has more purple and it is just a good one for a simple makeup look. Voyeur is pretty too, but it could be paired with many more different looks. These aren’t as shiny as I would want them to be, but they are very comfortable on the lips and last a pretty good time for a sheer formula.
Should you buy the Milani Color Fetish Balm lipstick?
I really love both of these. The formula is comfortable, fairly longwearing for a sheer lipstick and the colors are nice and popping. I love wearing these in the summer time the most because that is when I reach for shades like this the most. So yes, these are very pretty, but I think you can find a similar thing in other brands.
