One release I was interested in the minute it dropped was the Fenty Beauty Suede Powder blush. I love Fenty Beauty cheek products, their highlighters especially, so I knew when these were announced that I would most likely like them. They took ages to come to Europe though and not all the shades are available but of the ones I could choose from I went with Wattabrat. This my review for the Fenty powder blush.
This blush comes in 14 shades. The purple (which I wanted to try) called Drama Class is the one that isn’t available in Europe and can only be bought through the official Fenty Beauty website. So I opted for the next best thing and that for me was Wattabrat. This is listed as a shimmering baby pink and it truly is, but what makes this blush special is that is has a silver reflect in the shimmer.

These blushes retail for €28 which isn’t super expensive for a high end blush. You can definitely get ones that are more expensive. These come with 4 grams of product and I bought mine through UK Sephora (they ship to The Netherlands). They come in a matte and shimmer version and there is something there for every skin tone as Fenty always does.
What does this blush have to offer?
What stands out about this blush is how easy it is to apply. These blushes are soft and feel almost like a cream rather than a powder. This blush is supposed to be waterproof and sweat-resistant. These are impactful: a little goes a long way. You can apply this full on if you want, but with a light hand you can easily make this look more wearable.
What does this look like in a swatch?
Swatched on the back of my hand you can see how much of a silver shimmer this has. This is very fine and not too noticeable once on the cheeks though. It does give a beautiful dimension to the blush on the skin. As you can see below, there is no visible sparkle on the cheeks: the shimmer just reflects the light and add a beautiful glow. The pink looks a bit strong in a full on swatch, but this too is blended into the skin seamlessly.
What does this look like on the cheeks?
As you can see here the blush is beautiful on the cheeks. That very intense pink with silver shimmer in a swatch turns into a beautiful, soft, ethereal looking blush. This adds just the right amount of color and it looks so pretty on the face. There is just something about this that makes your look flawless and it lasts all day.
Should you buy the Fenty Beauty Wattabrat blush?
The Fenty Beauty Suede Powder blush is a beautiful, longwearing formula that just looks very pretty on the skin. Where I was afraid Wattabrat would just be another boring pink blush shade, it is actually a very different shade compared to other pink blushes I own. And that is a difficult thing to do. The formula is also out of this world amazing. So yes, this is very much worth the money.
