One of my favorite brands to test out is Lisa Eldridge. I remain a huge fan of her bullet lipsticks till this day and loved the foundation too. So when she came out with a skin tint, I knew I had to try it. Enter the Lisa Eldridge Seamless Skin Skin Tint in shade T3. How do I like it? Is it any good? Is this the best tinted moisturizer of your life? Those questions and more will be tackled in this review.
Available in 20 shades, which is a lot for a skin tint, I love the shade I got as you will see below. As a fair skinned gal with a cool to neutral undertone I can struggle finding my shade match, but with Lisa Eldridge it has been easy. Well easy… Because there are so many shades it can be difficult to pin point which may be right for you, but I have found it easy enough to find the brand in store on my travels to test it out at a counter. We all know Lisa Eldridge is a high end, luxury makeup brand and the price point of this skin tint is exactly that. At €45 a pop this doesn’t come cheap, but I also feel a little goes a long way. This can be bought online and the brand is slowly but surely becoming more widely available. Space NK, Selfridges and Libertys now all stock the brand and of course you could use the official Lisa Eldridge websites.
What are the claims on this skin tint?
The brand promises this skin tint is a fresh, luminous formula, with a light coverage and lots of skincare ingredients. According to the brand, this skin tint is 78% skincare. This should make your skin feel hydrated and moisturized while wearing makeup. On top of that it should be undetectable on the skin an provide a luminous natural finish to the face.
Is the shade a match?
Most certainly! In the picture above you can barely see the product in a swatch on the back of my hand. That’s because this just melts into the skin. Due to the light coverage the tone of the product is very forgiving as well. So that helps. On this image it looks like the product is clinging to some fuzzy bits on my cheeks, but that is due to the hyper closeup and it is not noticeable in real life. The shade I got is T3, which is described as a light shade with a neutral undertone.
What it looks like full face
When applied to the face you can see what this product does. Yes it has a light, sheer coverage, but due to the pigments coming together and great shade match I feel it nicely covers up the redness I have. It isn’t great at covering up my dark spots, but that is easily solved with a bit of extra concealer. This product looks glowy, but without feeling greasy and it wears well for such an emolient product. It does wipe off easily and with a stray hair flying into the your face it is going to stick to it.
Why you should by the Lisa Eldridge Seamless Skin Skin Tint
Why should you buy this? Because it is a bloody good product that is. From the shade match to the formula there isn’t much I dislike about this. I also love that you can build this up if you want and it never looks cakey. Whether the formula also helps my skin like a skincare product would I cannot tell as I have only been using it these past few weeks and I need more time to know what skincare works for me and doesn’t. Overall and excellent product that not only gets the job done, but is the perfect lightweight base product for the summer time.
