A solid drugstore brand that I love is 3INA (pronounced: mina). I love them for a few reasons: they are fun, they are European (hi Spain!) and they are available at the drugstore. So yes, they have a lot going for them. What’s more their products are numbered and you’ll find the same number (therefore the same shade) across the products of their line. Handy dandy! And today I am showcasing another 3INA product: the No-Rules blush stick in 385 Burgundy. Let’s give it a review.

3INA is the fun colorful brand that does lots of exciting makeup products. The packaging is plain and simple and their shade selection isn’t the same in every product, but I love the concept and the fact that the packaging comes in the shade of the color. You are never in doubt when using a 3INA products. Shade 385 is one of 10 shades in the No-Rules stick: this can be used a blush, but also on the lips and anywhere else that tickles your fancy.
Review: 3INA No Rules Blush Stick 385 Burgundy
So I am not sure where you can buy 3INA in store except for in the UK (they sell the brand at Superdrug). The brand has an official website and I have found their products through other EU based retailers such as Zalando, Douglas and Notino. Not sure about the availability outside of the EU though. They are a mid range brand: not overly expensive, but not cheap either. This No-Rules stick retails for around €15, but you can get if or cheaper if you await a sale.
What does this blush have to offer?

While many websites promote this as being a blush stick, this can be used in a multiple ways. Many of the shades will make you want to use it as a blush mostly though, but there are warmer, deeper and even lighter and cooler shades available. Use it as shadow, as a highlight, as lipstick or as a blush for a monochromatic look or depending on what shade you have. It contains hyaluronic acid to hydrate the skin.
What does this product swatch like?

In a swatch the No-Rule blush stick is quite intense. The shade burgundy is one I picked up because it looked like a cool toned shade that could work for my skin tone, provided I use it lightly. In a full on swatch it is quite intense. The brand recommends applying this straight from the stick, but I find the texture too matte and dry for that. It helps if you warm it up with your fingers first. So that is how I have been using it.
What does it look like on the face?

On the face you can easily sheer it out to be a pretty cool berry shade for sure. So while 385 Burgundy can look intimidating in the tube, I find it works really well when sheered out. I just rub the stick onto my finger tips, transfer that to my other finger tips on the other hand and just dab a little on. I apply more when needed. The effect? A subtle but pretty flushed look, exactly like I want it. Bonus points for it lasting all day without fail.
Should you buy the 3INA No Rules stick?

I think this blush stick by 3INA is lovely. It gets the job done just right: it lasts a long time, the shade is gorgeous and it applies easily provided you warm up the product first. All in all it is a beautiful product, but both shade and product are no longer unique and I think you can find this product from other brands at a cheaper price point. The Catrice Blushin’ Charm Stick in Ruby Darling comes to mind. So yes, a beautiful product that is worth the splurge, but can be found elsewhere just as easily.
