I read 5 books in recent months, so let’s wrap up my thoughts. Yes I was in a bit of a reading slump for a good reason but it meant I read a lot less than I normally would. I typically read 5 books a month. So I am behind on my reading goal, but all is well again and I feel confident that I can finish more books before the end of the year.

I read a mix of things: there is a non-fiction, a horror story, historical fiction, literary fiction and a fantasy. So a nice variety of things that I enjoyed and I am happy to report I am in the midst of three more books already that I am making good progress on. So I am hopeful to be back on the reading train soon and with the nice weather we’ve been having I have been enjoying reading a lot more too. But for now: here are my thoughts on the last 5 reads in 2025.
