Nuse Liquid Care Cheek blush review

You saw me do a rave review of the Nuse Liquid Care Cheek in Muhly Bowl not too long ago. But I still have two more blushes in the same line that I need to review for you. Today’s review is for the Liquid Care Cheek in Fig Fog (purple lid) and the Mousse Care Cheek in Crema Mauve (green lid). Let’s have a closer look.

One of the reasons I loved the first one I reviewed for you was the shade. But that was brighter than these two were. Fig Fog is like a muted brown and Crema Mauve is like a grey toned purple. So I wasn’t sure how these would pan out or how they would show up. But I can tell you that these are some beautiful subtle blushes if that’s what you are in to.

Review: Nuse Liquid Care Cheek Fig Fog & Crema Mauve

While these blushes look the same, they aren’t exactly the same formula. They do retail for the same price on Yesstyle. For around €12 you will have yourself one of these blushes. Both formulas come in a few shades, but all of them are quite muted, so this is for everyone who loves a blush that applies seamlessly but that doesn’t take a lot of blending.

What does this blush have to offer?

So both of these blushes are slightly different but nearly the same in terms of formula. They are both liquids, that blend well, last long and look great on the skin. The only difference? The Liquid Care Cheek is a glowy formula, whereas the Mousse Care Cheek is slightly more matte. But in a swatch and on the cheeks I don’t really see a difference. What I can tell you is that both shades are even prettier than Muhly Bowl.

Swatched out I don’t see much of a difference between the formulas. The Liquid Care Cheek on the left is perhaps a bit more wet, whereas the Mousse Care Cheek is a little bit thicker. But both are hydrating, have skincare properties and last well on the cheeks. So it’s really just a matter of the shade you like best. These do sheer out a lot though so they don’t go on this intense onto the cheeks.

On the left you can see Crema Mauve and Fig Fog is on the right. I also tried mixing them and that also came up to a pretty shade which you can see on the bottom right. Crema Mauve is super light though so this is only for the fairest of skin tones. Fig Fog adds more warmth, but because it has glow, it has a pretty lit from within look. Both shades are beautiful and go with any eye look you do.

Should you buy the Nuse Liquid Care Cheek blush?

I think the Nuse liquid care cheek blushes are excellent. They last long, they come in pretty shades but it’s not super inclusive. The shades are all very light and muted. On warm skin tones they could be quite ashy and if you have anything deeper than a light skin tone these simply will not show up. So these are perfect if you have fair skin and you love a wearing cool toned blushes.
