I love coats. I have plenty of them, because I believe that a good coat makes or breaks an outfit. It’s the first thing people see and so I have invested in quite some styles over the years. Many coats were found on sale, vintage or on Vinted and most of them I have owned for years. Many of these are well worn, well loved and staple pieces in my wardrobe. Let’s show some love to my coat collection.
When it comes to coats I like wearing different things in different seasons. Something I want a long line overcoat that is wool, other times I want a thick puffer coat else I would be too cold. And sometimes I want a lightweight trenchcoat or a denim jacket. The Netherlands, where I live, has four distinct seasons. Sometimes within the same day. I can wear coats until well into summer weather depending and so I like having options. And forget about boring black: I like prints, colors, textures and really adding a bit of pizzaz.
