My goal for 2024 skincare wise? To use more K-beauty products! One K-beauty brand I was most exited for when it comes to K-beauty skincare was COSRX because I hear so many people raving about them. I reviewed the COSRX Ceramide cream in October, but today we are taking a closer look at the Refresh AHA BHA Vitamin C Daily Cream.
So when I got this in I wasn’t totally sure how to use it. I ended up using at night time and I don’t know how to categorize it. It is an exfolicant technically but since the formula is also quite hydrating I could use it in place of my night time moisturizer.
Skincare review: COSRX Refresh AHA BHA Vitamin C Daily Cream
At €15 this isn’t too bad for a skincare product. It also has plenty of active ingredients in and I got mine through Yesstyle. In fact, comes 2025 I will probably have to replenish my K-beauty skincare products so I am definitely planning on doing a bit of a restock. This isn’t necessarily on my repurchase list though. Let me explain.
What does this product have to offer?
Since this is an exfoliant it is recommended for night time use. I would also add to that to use an SPF to help protect the skin. The exfoliating ingredient here are kiwi and dragon fruit extracts. It should help prevent dull skin and leave a radiant finish. It is enriched with niacinamide (my fave skincare ingredient) and vitamin C. And despite all those lovely ingredients it is still great for my sensitive skin.
What is my experience using this product?
This is a very lightweight yet hydrating cream. It has some actives in that are gentle enough yet do help with my skin looking a bit dull and dry. I don’t have many skin issues (other than that it is reactive) but it can look a little dull and bland at times. This didn’t set off any redness, was gentle enough and yet I won’t be repurchasing this. The reason? I went though this so quickly! I used it up super fast and then the €15 price point is a bit pricey especially because I have achieved similar results with cheaper products.
