One of the longest standing favorites in my makeup collection is the Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream. In fact, it was one of the first makeup products I ever reviewed on this blog back in 2012. I have tried many more foundation like products and even other BB creams by the same brand that I like a lot, but this one still holds a special place in my heart. Let me explain why.
My reason for updating my review for you is because I got a new shade. When I first got this I got shade 13 which ended up being far too light for me. But it was the first base product that ever worked for me. I would try foundations before this but they always broke me out or my skin reacted in some way or another. This was the first product that never did. So I got it in shade 21 to see if it was any better for me.

The Missha Perfect Cover BB cream is one of the more affordable BB creams currently out there. Probably because this is an older product that has been onde market for years, this now retails for just over €10, which is an absolute steal for a solid base product like this.
What does this product have to offer?
What makes this BB cream one of the best makeup products on the planet? It is just a great allrounder. It being a classic BB cream this may be a bit grey leaning for some people, but it works great for light skin tones that like to stay light. It conceals and protects the skin and has an SPF of 42. It is medium to buildable coverage that lasts all day and never creases. It even has some skincare products to help improve skin over time. One of the first products I ever tried to do so.
What does this look like in a swatch?
This product is ever so slightly glowy on the skin. The texture is thin and easy to blend out. Shade 21 turns out to be a perfect match for me. It blends seamlessly and never looks too makeuppy or heavy on the skin despite the good level of coverage this has. My dry skin loves this stuff and I mostly wear it in the winter time when my skin gets drier from all the heating inside.
What does this look like on the face?
Here you can see a great comparison of my face with and without the prodoct. On the left you can see some minor redness that I like to cover up. It has disappeared completely on the right. The coverage is nice, the shade is light enough for it to work on me best in the winter time but it doesn’t make my face look dead. What’s more: this lasts all day and is comfortable on the skin. This never looks cakey.
Should you buy the Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream?
With this being such a long standing favorite in my makeup collection I can safely recommend this to whoever wants to try it. There aren’t many shades to choose from though and overall this skews quite light to begin with as it has whitening agents in. If you are not looking for that, you may want to skip this. But for me this has been a favorite for more than a decade and so I can fullheartedly recommend this to anyone who wishes to try it.
