Have I found the best Fenty Beauty products I have tried yet? It may very well be possible. Because the Fenty Beauty We’re Even concealer is one of the first base products by the brand I feel works for me. I have tried a few, but this is the first that I want to keep on using. Here’s why.
Fenty Beauty being Fenty Beauty this concealer is available in 50 shades. So I went in store to find my shade match because with this many shades available I just know I won’t be quite the lightest shade. From experience I know that these extensive shade ranges aren’t a perfect gradient. So I went with 150N: it swatched lighter and cooler than the next two shades down 130W & 140N, while the other lighter shades were too light for me.

With Fenty Beauty being a Sephora brand this retails for a similar price as all other concealers you can typically find in there. At €29 this isn’t the most expensive concealer, nor is it very affordable. It is a good middle point. It contains 9 mls of product which is a decent amount of product as far as concealers go.
What does this concealer have to offer?
The We’re Even concealer taps into the leading trend of infusing concealers with skincare properties. This is therefore a hydrating but also longwearing formula. Fenty Beauty’s first because many of their original line up was mainly great for normal to oily skin and the line was severely lacking products that can work on dry skin. This has a medium coverage that shouldn’t settle into lines and be transferproof so it lasts all day without problems.
What does this look like in a swatch?
In the swatch you can already see how glowy this is. This is definitely a hydrating product and the shade is pretty spot on. This also doesn’t oxidize quickly, instead it is very true to color and looks great on the skin. I have stopped loving very light concealers on me, so I prefer to choose one closer to my actual skin tone and this has been perfect for that.
What does this look like on the skin?
On the skin, this concealer looks very lightweight and glowy. I really enjoy the effect. It is definitely the first time I tried a Fenty Beauty concealer that actually works for me. I tried their undereye brightener a while ago but it was weirdly drying on me. Same for the skin tint AND the original Fenty foundation. Now that the brand has branched out doing more hydrating products I am more intrigued. This concealer lasts all day, it doesn’t draw into any fine lines or creases and it never looks dry and cakey. So overall this ticks all the boxes.
Should you buy the Fenty Beauty We’re Even concealer?
I love this concealer to bits as it works very well, but I have tried many great concealers in the past few months so it is hard to pick a favorite. This isn’t my top top favorite, but it is still a good one. I love how it sits on the skin, how long it wears and how it looks even after a long day. So yes, this is a solid release from Fenty and something new for the brand: always a good thing.
