Before going on my Edinburgh trip I knew it would be great for bookshopping. My Tiktok was filled with all the best bookstores for weeks and I picked up some more tips along the way. So I went all over town going to all the best places. This is as much a book haul as an overview of all the bookstores I visited. I didn’t buy anything at every book store, so there are a few honorable mentions.
I went to Golden Hare, Blackwell’s, Armchair Books (second hand books), Waterstone’s Typewronger Books, Topping & Co and Argonaut Books. I also visited Edinburgh Books, but I didn’t take any pictures. It was great though. A second hand book store that had a shelf labelled ‘dull books’ right next to a section called ‘difficult to classify’. I loved all the independent stores and coffee places Edinburgh had to offer.
