Last year I tried the Hauslabs foundation after caving for the hype this brand receives. But I loved it and I felt is was very much worth the hype with a great dewy texture and an excellent shade match. So that made me curious after the matching concealer. Is it as good? Let’s review the Hauslabs Triclone Skin Tech concealer.

There are a few reasons why this concealer deserves some of the hype: it comes in 31 shades. That is more than most concealers on the market. I bought shade 3 Fair Rosy and like the foundation I waited to find this product in store before I purchase. Because while there are many shades (which is great), I think it makes it more difficult to buy online. So I bought this in Spain in the spring time. Let’s review it.
Review: Hauslabs Triclone Skin Tech Hydrating & Depuffing concealer 3 Fair Rosy
The downside to this is that Hauslabs is not an affordable brand. It is exclusively sold at Sephora and it only just became available in Europe this year. This means this product is more expensive than most concealers. At €33 this concealer can be a steep price point for some people and you get 7 ml of product which is quite standard as far as a concealer goes.
What does this product have to offer?

This product has won an Allure award for 2024, which I think is well-deserved. It is marketed as a clean, lightweight and long-wearing concealer. It should brighten and concealer your complexion while having medium coverage. It should help with hydrating and depuffing your under eyes with skincare like ingredients like arnica. The packaging doesn’t feel very different from other concealers but there is a satisfying click every time you close this.
What does this look like in a swatch?

To my surprise this feels pretty thick and gloopy at first. However, as it sits on the skin it sheers out beautifully. I think the warmth of your skin helps this blend so sometimes going in with a finger can make this look even better. The shade Fair Rosy is pretty spot on: it is a great depth I just wish it was a touch pinkier than this. You can see this has a thicker formula in the swatch but it feels more like a thick eye cream than anything else.
What does this look like on the face?

I have quite deepset eyes which results in perpetual darkness in inner corner. Therefore I use a concealer to cover it up as well as some of the veining around my eyes. You can see here that the concealer has no issues to cover things up and it blends seamelessly. It wears well throughout the day, but I do find I need to tap this back into place at the outer corners throughout the day because it is so creamy.
Should you buy the Hauslabs Skin Tech concealer?

I think this concealer gets the job done. It didn’t wow me as much as the foundation has but it is a solid product for sure. If you are willing to spend more than an average concealer of if you are looking for your perfect match this will be a great concealer to try. I will certainly be getting more use out of this, especially in the winter time when my skin gets drier, because I feel that’s when this product will mostly come in handy with its rich, creamy formula.
