Sometimes I feel a little bit down and out with the makeup I trying. Everything feels the same, everything looks the same and it just becomes a bit boring at time. Until you find a true gem of a product that gets you excited for makeup all over again. Meet the Fwee Blurry Pudding Pot Lip & Cheek and let me explain why this has me so excited.
First things first, this little mousse like lip & cheek 2-in-1 product isn’t just innovative, it also comes in heaps of shades. There are lots of shades too! This is available in 30 shades which have been split up into six color families with 5 shades each. This way it is super easy to figure out which ones you might like.
Review: Fwee Blurry Pudding Pot Lip & Cheek D-Day & Slayy
Fwee isn’t a super expensive brand, nor is it super cheap. It is a good middle of the road price point and these retails for around €15 each. I get most of my K-beauty on Yesstyle but I have seen these popping up on other K-beauty retail websites as well.
What do these blushes have to offer?
I first saw someone using these on Tiktok a few months ago and instantly knew I had to try them. These have a jelly texture with a mousse-y bounce to them that can be applied very pigmented or sheered out. You can use them on both the lips and the cheeks and it creates a soft focus blurred finish. But it never looks flat either. I got two shades to try out: Slayy and D-Day and what’s more: it comes in a cute little pot as well.
What do these look like in a swatch?
On the left we have D-Day and on the right we have Slayy. For this test I wanted to try two shades from different color families and I definitely would like to get some more.
D-Day is part of the red family and is described as a tomato red with a warm undertone. On me it pulls a bit more pink though.
Slayy is described as a muted grey-ish mauve with a cool undertone and is part of the ‘cold-hearted’ color family.
Of the other color families I would love to try Cherry and Film and that would really complete my collection.
What do these look like on the skin?
On the skin I don’t find these super different but they do go with different looks nonetheless. Slayy is pictured up top and it is my favorite of the two. It initially looks a little bit brown but when sheered out it is a great plum toned mauve. D-Day pulls a pinky red on me and it gives that fresh in from the cold effect.
The finish looked more matte in the swatches than it does on the cheeks. When you blend these onto the skin with fingers, the texture of the foundation underneath will shine through and it blends seamlessly with your other cheek products such as highlighters and bronzers to complete the look.
Should you buy the Fwee Blurry Pudding Pot Lip & Cheek?
I really love these products so so much. Ever since I put them into rotation I cannot put them down. I haven’t fallen this hard for a blush since I tried the Apieu Juicy Pang blushers. They are easy to use, come in so many shades, the packaging is cute yet stury and it just looks great no matter how much I use. More importantly though these are fun, the texture is something I haven’t used in ages and I love a foolproof product any time of day. I would highly recommend these.
