The downside of a product you don’t select yourself? That you don’t have many expectations when you start trying it. Therefore this foundation is one that I went in blindly, but that I can ascertain now that I have tried it that it is a good foundation for sure but the shade range is too limited.

Review: Mizon Vegan Collagen Cushion foundation #23 Sand Beige
At €23 this foundation is a mid range priced product in terms of cushion foundations. This isn’t the cheapest cushion I have tried, nor is it the most expensive. It wasn’t one that I picked out so bear that in mind when you go into this review.
What does this cushion have to offer?
This cushion has an SPF of 38 and should create a natural but glowy look. It contains skincare ingredients while still providing coverage and it should improve the skin over time. This is recommended for use on sensitive skin. In a swatch this product is nearly undetectable as the formula is very thin and blendable so that seems promising.
What is the shade match like?
Sadly this product doesn’t have a great shade match for me. I was sent shade #23 which I knew would be too dark. I am usually a #17-#21 in K-beauty and so the lighter option would have been better. That said, this is also very yellow AND it is only available in two shades, which really isn’t good.
What is the coverage like?
But this product delivers! It is very pretty on the skin, has good coverage yet it doesn’t look heavy. If this wasn’t so dark and yellow I might have been able to keep using this until it runs out because the formula is great. This lasts all day, even after a long day of work and a workout class, this is still on. It has a slightly dewy finish but it isn’t super glass like.
Should you buy the Mizon Vegan Collagen Cushion?
As much as this is a great cushion foundation I don’t believe I can recommend this. It only comes in two shades and they are both quite yellow. So it will be difficult for most people to find their shade match. However, if this matches you and you are looking for a great cushion foundation this is worth a shot.
