In this month’s Shop My Stash I have two blushes by EM Cosmetics. I reviewed the last one for you about a week ago, but that was a cream product. Today we are taking a closer look at a powder formula and it is one of my faves. It’s the Heaven’s Glow blush in Venetian Rose.
The Heaven’s Glow blushes to me are very special. I already own two: Magic Hour (a gorgeous soft peach) and Baroque (a soft beige neutral). Since I love both of those, I knew I wanted to try another one and I really enjoyed the look of the Venetian Rose blushes as it is my favorite shade in the liquid blushes I have tried so far. Review: EM Cosmetics Heaven’s Glow blush in Venetian Rose
EM Cosmetics to me falls into the high end/ luxury category as the brand is quite pricey, but also because their aesthetic and marketing really gives that vibe (to me at least). At $34 for a blush that isn’t the most expensive blush I have ever tried, but it is certainly one of the pricier blushes in my collection.
What does this blush have to offer?
My main reason for loving the EM Cosmetics Heaven’s Glow blushes is the finish. These are soft, glowy and very pretty. They can be built up for a more heavy flushed look, or you can apply them very sheerly and use them as a blush topper. This makes them one of the more versatile blushes in my makeup collection.
How does this blush swatch?
As you can see hear Venetian Rose is a warm rosy pink with a slight golden sheen. On the cheek though this looks very natural on. I was nervous for this one as I thought it might be too warm toned for me, but it just so happens to be very natural looking on. Texture wise this soft and finely milles, but the baked product prevents it from flying everywhere. Wear time is very decent: on my dry skin I don’t experience any fading throughout the day.
What does this look like on the cheeks?
On the cheeks this looks like my cheeks but better. It is insane how much this blush looks like what my natural flushed cheeks look like. I have some redness naturally in my face and this mimicks just that. It just blends in perfectly too and the slight sheen means this never looks flat. A very beautiful product that layers wonderfully with the cream So Soft blush in the same shade too. Just in case you want that extra punch.
Should you buy the EM Cosmetics Heaven’s Glow in Venetian Rose?
I think this is a stunning product, but EM Cosmetics can be so expensive to buy from that I struggle recommending their products wholeheartedly. Yes this is worth it to me and I absolutely love this, but if you are in the EU the only way to get this is by shopping the official website which is in the US. They now finally add all the customs fees at checkout which makes it easier to figure out what you might end up paying, but it’s a pricey purchase that’s for sure.
