One cushion foundation I was most excited for? The Clio Kill Cover Mesh Glow cushion. Not only because I already have a few Clio products I love, but also because I have heard great things about the Clio Kill Cover cushions from other beauty enthusiasts. Let’s find out if I like this as much as everyone else.

This review is for the mini version of this foundation. As I am testing out 12 cushion foundations, with some that come with an additional cushion in the purchase, I knew buying only full sizes would make it difficult to try using up these products in the long run. So I went with the mini instead. The mini comes in three shades, as does the full size.
Review: Clio Kill Cover Mesh Glow cushion foundation mini in 2BP Lingerie
The full size cushion retails from nearly €25 on Yesstyle. The mini is half the price. You do get a lot less product, but this will be great for travel. The mini contains 5 grams of product. The full size gives you 15 grams and an additional refill of the same size. That is one thing that is great about many K-beauty cushion foundation as one cushion doesn’t come with a standard amount of foundation meaning you can use them up quickly. So many come with a refill upon purchase making it a great deal.
What does this foundation have to offer?

The Clio Mesh Glow cushion is a very lightweight foundation that is sheer and glowy but has a light to medium coverage. While the coverage may seem very sheer here on the back of my hand, with the cushion applicator I feel this gives exactly the kind of coverage I like. This is longlasting, but also very glowy and some days it can look a bit too glowy. Like you have greasy skin rather than a healthy glow if you don’t use powder.
What is the coverage like?

Like I said, this seems sheer in a swatch and also on the cushion this appears to be very lightweight. But coverage wise this works very well. My redness disappears instantly and I have been wearing it for a while now and it works very very well. Yes, this does need powder to prever it from looking overly shiny, but is certainly works. The only downside here is the mini size of the cushion which makes this take a little bit longer than other cushion foundations to apply.
What is the shade match like?

The shade match of this is decent. It’s not great though. It’s better than the cushion foundations I tried last month which were all far too dark for me as they oxidized into peachy shades or worse, were three shades too dark to begin with. This looks very nice, it is a touch too yellow, but depth wise this is on point and certainly very wearable.
Should you buy the Clio Kill Cover Mesh Glow?

Excuse the messy makeup in this picture but I realized I had forgotten to taking a picture of my finished makeup that day so this has already been on for hours. But at least you can see how nicely it holds up throughout the day.
I certainly love this product and will be going back to it in the future. This has everything I want: lightweight formula, good coverage, glowy finish and a decent shade match. So what’s not to love?
