One of the best concealers I have tried in recent years? The Saem Cover Perfection Tip concealer. This concealer I now own for the second time. The first time I got a shade that was too dark, but I loved the formula enough that I repurchased it in a shade that was light enough for me. And rightly so, this is a great concealer that is affordable to boot.

K-beauty brands aren’t know for being shade inclusive, but I was impressed to see this comes in 14 shades. However, some of those are contour and corrector shades more so than concealers, so if you have deep skin you may not love this. However, finding a shade match was also a challenge to me, as I couldn’t figure it out myself. Shade 0.5 ended up being a great match for me though, so that’s what we’re reviewing.
Review: The Saem Cover Perfection Tip Concealer 0.5 Ice Beige
But guess what the biggest attraction is to this product? It’s the price point. The Saem is definitely more of a drugstore priced K-beauty brand. And this concealer retails for around €5. Yes, you don’t get a lot of product, but at this price point I really don’t mind how much product I get as it is enough to last a little while and it is super affordable. This is one of the cheapest concealers I have ever tried.
What does this product have to offer?

The way this concealer operates greatly reminds me of the Kiko Milano Skin Tone concealer. Another favorite and one I love and the packaging is very similar as is the formula. This promises to seamlessly cover up any blemishes and flaws, while not being cakey. It can be used in multiple ways so it is a good allrounder.
What does this swatch like?

This concealer is one where a little goes a long way. The formula is thin, but if you apply too much this can be prone to creasing and looking a little bit heavy. The trick is to apply the thinnest possible layer and build up the intensity as you go along. The shade 0.5 Ice Beige is spot on: it is light enough to blend into my skiin, but it isn’t so light as to give a true highlighting effect.
What does it look like on the skin?

Applied you can see what I mean with a little goes a lon gway. With just one small dot you can cover your entire under eye area. The shade is light enough to make it work for me and it has been a great, easy, everyday concealer that wears well. On my dry skin it doesn’t accentuate dry patches, nor does it look cakey. I sometimes use my finger to help blend this in though because it can be easy to overapply.
Should you buy The Saem Tip concealer?

I love when I fall in love with a product this much. It is just a great, workhorse makeup product that I can get so much use out of. I will definitely be using this one up as it is a longwearing, easy to use product that doesn’t break the bank. If you haven’t tried it yet, definitely do!
