Last year I tried a bunch of Eveline Cosmetics foundations. Of the three I tried none had the right shade, so I sadly had to declutter them all. The Wondermatch was the most impressive one to me so when I saw they do it in a glowy version I decided to see if I could pick it up in a better color match. Let’s review the Wonder Match Lumi foundation in shade 05 Light Neutral.
In case you are unfamiliar with Eveline Cosmetics, they are a Polish drugstore brand that I can find online. Quite some people have recommended I try them and I tried them for the first time because I wanted to try more drugstore makeup. So I did.
Review: Eveline Cosmetics Wondermatch Lumi foundation 05 Light Neutral
This product is available in Poland but if you are not from there than places that stock EU based drugstore brands will be helpful. I bought mine on Notino but you can also find this on Kosmetik4Less. It retails for €13 which is a reasonable price point for foundation.
What it offers
This foundation is supposed to be a glowy version of the Wonder Match foundation. That one I Iiked the texture of, but the shade was way off. That’s one of the downsides of only being able to find something online. I took a gamble and got this in a far lighter shade and it works!
Formula wise this is a lightweight medium coverage foundation that has a lot of glow. It is quite longlasting on the skin and I can wear this all day without it sliding around and it still looks nice even after a full day of wear.
Shade match
The shade match on this is close, but not quite perfect. It is a touch too yellow against my skin but with a bit of bronzer applied you really can’t tell. It doesn’t oxidize but it blends in nicely and it has a pleasant formula that works well.
Coverage
Here you can see the coverage this has. I like the coverage but I you do need quite a bit of product to blend this well. I feel the less you use with this the quicker it settles down and the more difficult it blends. If you use plenty you can work this into the skin and it will look better than when you use less product.
Should you buy the Eveline Cosmetics Wondermatch foundation?
The Eveline Cosmetics Wonder Match foundation is a great foundation that is affordable. Yes I am not sure how often I will be reaching for it now that I have tried and reviewed it. The fact that I have to apply quite a lot for it to blend nicely is what is holding me back and I have far more foundations, also more affordable ones, that I like better than I do this.
