We all know ZARA does affordable fragrance that is actually quite decent. They are best known for their dupes and their line is extensive so you can certainly find something you’ll like. Let’s see how Waterlily Tea Dress holds up.
I think this may have been my first ZARA fragrance purchase back in the day. I picked it up in store and since then they have changed the packaging. That said, I chose this because of it’s fresh, lightweight scent and I was all about finding something green and fresh smelling for spring/ summer a few years ago. So this was a great way to figure out what I liked.
Review: ZARA Waterlily Tea Dress perfume
This is a review for the full size, which is 90ml, but you can buy different sizes. This bottle retails for around €25 which is very decent for how much you get. My biggest caveat with ZARA fragrance is the lasting power. I find these require reapplication throughout the day which is not something I usually do, so I ended up decluttering most of them.
What does this smell like?
According to Fragrantica this is a green, fresh, spicy fragrance. The notes are as follows:
- Mint, bergamot, musk
And this is exactly what I think I can smell. It starts off smelling fresh and minty. But there is also a zesty citrus note. The musk warms it up toward the end but it evaporates quickly and I get more of the citrusy scent in the end, which is not my favorite. I have mentioned in the past how I find most citrus scents to be too similar to air freshners and this is close to that air freshner vibe.
Should you buy ZARA Waterlily Tea Dress?
I think this is a lovely, easy to wear perfume if you are not looking for much for the day time. This does require bringing along in a bag so buying a smaller size may be better than this bigger one. Or if you love it, buy the big guy and a smaller size to stick in a handbag.
