COSRX Pure Fit Cica serum review

I am still dipping my toes into K-beauty skincare and today we are reviewing a product that I just knew was going to work. The COSRX Pure Fit Cica serum was an ace in the hole and that’s all due to the centalla that this is based on.

My main reason for wanting to try this is because it said that this is formulated to help with easily irritated skin. It should calm and strengthen the skin while helping improve the skin barrier at the same time. Additionally it is free of pretty much any irritant and so far my skin has been loving this stuff.

Review: COSRX Pure Fit Cica Serum

Overall this serum is on the more affordable side especially for how effective this is. At just over €20 this isn’t super expensive nor is it so cheaply made that it doesn’t do much. This makes for a good balance between active ingredients that do something great for the skin at a price point that is manageable for most.

What ingredients does this product have?

The ingredient list tells you everything you need to know. Usually skincare ingredient lists have two ingredients at the top of the list: water and glycerin. This one does not. Here it is:

Centella AsiaticaExtract, Centella Asiatica Leaf Extract, Centella AsiaticaRoot Extract, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, 1,2-Hexanediol, Betaine, Panthenol, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl TaurateCopolymer, Polyglyceryl10 Laurate, Polyglyceryl-10 Myristate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Allantoin, Ethylhexylglycerin, Xanthan Gum, Water, Pinus Pinaster Bark Extract, Asiaticoside, Asiatic Acid, MadecassicAcid, Madecassoside

As you can see, centella is right there at the top. That means that the concentration of those ingredients is the highest of any ingredients on the list. For a serum at this price point I think that is a great thing.

Should you buy the COSRX Cica serum?

If your skin loves centella as much mine does, then this is definitely worth a try. I can tell why this a hyped up product and when I get through mine this will definitely be a repurchase. My skin is less reactive, I experience less redness and it doesn’t feel dry or as dehydrated as it has felt for a long time. A great one if you want to improve your skin barrier.
