EM Cosmetics Rose Milk blush review

I love a good liquid blush and this isn’t the first EM Cosmetics Color Drops serum blush review I do either. I have reviewed two of them before with Venetian Rose being my favorite. But what does the Rose Milk shade look like? Let’s review it.

Now before you think: wait a minute, didn’t you get rid of this? Yes, this blush is no longer in my collection. The reason? It’s very similar to Strawberry in the Apieu Juicy Pang liquid blush line. So I didn’t need both and this was passed on to a good home. Doesn’t mean I can’t still review the product.

Review: EM Cosmetics Color Drops Serum blush in Rose Milk

At $28 a piece these blushes do not come cheap but they do have a fun dropper style bottle. By now the bottle on these have changed which makes them easier to use. However, I enjoyed the older dropper style. It took some time to get used to using it, but once you get the hang of it, it is more than fine.

What does this blush formula do?

One thing I loved about this EM Cosmetics blush (and all the other shades I tried) is how glowy this is. Just one drop and you will have enough for both cheeks and the result is a glowy soft focus look every time. These have more pigment than the Apieu ones so it takes less product if you like a blushy look.

What does this look like in a swatch?

Swatched out you can see this is a soft peachy pink with quite a lot of pigmentation. It sheers out beautifully though but I would recommend using fingers to apply this. It is longlasting but this glowy of a formula isn’t for everyone. It is a very glowy formula that highlights as much as it blushes.

What does this look like on the face?

As you can see here this blush is a soft peachy pink on the cheeks. It is a bit soft for my liking and this was part of my declutter for that reason. I don’t need two barely there soft focus blushes in a peachy pink shade. So while pretty and exactly what I like in a blush I don’t need this twice in my collection.

Should you buy the EM Cosmetics blush in Rose Milk?

This soft peachy pink is a beautiful glowy blush shade that will work great on fair skin tones. I love shades like this but that’s why I tend to have too many. When push came to shove this was decluttered as I love a blush that is more buildable and with this you only have one shot to get it right. So yes, while this is a pretty blush combined with the slightly cumbersome packaging I just felt it wasn’t quite right for me.
