Guess what’s back? It’s the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lip to Cheek Glow and I hadn’t yet reviewed mine. So let’s change that and delve into the world of rosy glow for both cheeks and lips.

This review is a long time coming. In fact, I no longer own this product as I decluttered it last year. But back then I wanted to review it and it was no longer available. Now that is back and for sale again I figured I could still tell you all about it.
Review: Charlotte Tilbury Lip to Cheek Glow Pillow Talk Colour of Dreams
We all know that Charlotte Tilbury isn’t a cheap brand. At €42 this product is quite expensive for what it is. I mean, some of my favorite cream blushes are by drugstore and K-beauty brands that I feel work just as well as this. So you definitely do not need to splurge on this if you want to.
What does this have to offer?

This is a multi-purpose lip & cheek product. So you can wear this on your lips as well as a blush. Now I mainly used it as a blush because I found this too drying for the lip area. The shade Colour of Dreams is a rosy hue that is supposed to fit within the Pillow Talk family. It is meant to give a fresh, rosy effect with a semi-sheer finish and a bit of glow. It also has some skincare ingredients that should nourish your skin as you wear this.
What does this look like in a swatch?

Well, if you go by the description of this product I think you can see it’s pretty spot on. This is a blendable, warm rose blush shade with a sheer finish and lots of glow. So why did I declutter it? Because it was not a stand out product in my collection. I have lots of warm rosy/ mauve toned blushes as they are literally a dime a dozen and easy to find. So I kept one I liked better and got rid of this. Because essentially if you have one it will create the effect for you.
What does this look like on the cheeks?

That this is a pretty on is no debate. It looks very natural on and now that I am looking at this pictures again all I can think is: why did I declutter this? Because this is pretty. It comes in two shades though so if you have ultra fair or super deep skin this may not be your product. However, I decided I preferred my Victoria Beckham blush stick in Miniskirt over this. It has more pigmentation, better lasting power and it is easier to use.
Should you buy the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lip to Cheek Glow?

This is a beautiful product by Charlotte Tilbury but I have explained this many times and I will explain it again: Charlotte Tilbury is a brand I have found isn’t quite for me. The entire range is warm toned, everything is too rosy and it just doesn’t go with what I love.
On top of that I think the brand is overhyped as they are great at marketing but the products aren’t that special once you compare them to other brands that retail at a similar price point. At this price level you can find better makeup and there is even makeup out there that is much cheaper than this that performs just as well or even better.
