We all know K-beauty can do a good liquid blush. I love the Apieu Juicy Pang ones personally. But I figured it was time to branch out. And I wanted to try more cool toned blushes this year so when I found this gorgeous light pinky lavender tone I knew I had to try it.
This is available in 5 shades and shade 04 Mauve Lavender is the lightest and coolest one available. The other shades are far more orange-y/ peach heavy. There is one more cool toned option but that is a straight up pink and I have plenty of those. This seemed to be different.

At around €10 from Yesstyle this is a blush that is quite easily accessible as well. I had never heard of the brand About Tone before but the shade options appealed to me and this one in particular stood out.
What does this blush have to offer?
This liquid blush is supposed to give a natural look with an airy, easy to blend formula. Texture wise this should be soft and smooth while lasting well on the skin. It has even application and should minimize the look of texture. This has a matte finish but could also be used as an eyeshadow if you wish.
What does this blush swatch like?
In the bottle it looks more pink but once on the skin you can clearly see the purple undertone coming through. You can see this is quite a sheer formula, but it builds up well. It can easily be layered without disturbing any foundation you might be wearing. I can also confirm that this has great longevity as it dries down and doesn’t budge.
What does this look like on the cheeks?
As you can see this blush gives a very airbrushed look. It evens out the skin but it does take quite a bit of product to get it to show up as it is very light. I love how easy it is to use though. You can apply it straight from the tube and it will not make you look like a clown. Very easy indeed and the shade is just spot on.
Should you buy the About Tone liquid blush?
I think this is a great liquid blush shade that has a great formula, blendability and I love the color. This isn’t for everyone but it comes in 4 other shades that are a bit more attuned to warmed skin tones. If you have a cool undertone though this may be perfect as it is a great pinky lavender shade that looks stunning on. Plus it is affordable to boot!
