Even though I love neutral eyeshadow looks, you’d be surprised to know that I struggle finding good browns. I love taupe and mauve, but browns? Not a huge fan as they are usually warm toned and therefore not my favorite. But I have a few that I rate highly. These are them.
What I found out when I made this selection is that I prefer my browns to be on the deeper end of the spectrum. I love mattes for liner or shimmers for outer V and lower lash line work. I very rarely use a brown all over the lid. That’s why I love making this series because it is really teaching me what I like about eyeshadow and how I like using it.
