What I Read in 2021

what I read in 2021

In this week’s book post, I am talking about all the books I read in 2021. I know, a long time coming, but 2021 was not a good year for reading for me and it also caused me to not update you on anything. Of course I was listing everything on Goodreads, so if you followed me on there, you will have gotten a much better overview. But I figured that now I am relaunching my Booktube channel that I could at least take you back in time and talk about my 2021 reads.

What I read in 2021 // Or: what I read even though I was in a reading slump

Books mentioned:

  • Charlie Mackesy – The Boy, The Mole, The Fox & the Horse
  • Genevieve Cogman – The Secret Chapter (Invisible Library series)
  • N. K. Jemisin – The Fifth Season (Broken Earth Trilogy)
  • N. K. Jemisin – The Obelisk Gate (Broken Earth Trilogy)
  • Ben Aaronovitch – Tales of the Folly
  • Ben Aaronovitch – What Abigail Did That Summer
  • Luke Arnold – The Last Smile in Sunder City
  • Matt Haig – The Midnight Library
  • Arjen Lubach – Magnus
  • Marieke Lucas Rijneveld – De Avond is Ongemak
  • Ramsey Nasr – De Fundamenten
How do you get out of a reading slump?
