I thought it would be fun to show you some outfits again that I wore recently. Some of these I wore in July, others I wore in August and September. Some of these I wore casually, some of these I wore to work: in short, I definitely see a pattern here: baggy jeans, floral dresses and lots and lots of shirts. So let me show you these outfits in a close up.
What I Wore #16 // Late Summer Work Outfits
Outfit 1: Blouse (H&M), jeans (Topshop), shoes (Dr. Marten’s 1460)
Outfit 2: dress (Monki), shoes (Reebok)
Let’s start with a nice mix. 2021 is the year I discovered mom jeans and my favorites are by Topshop (yes, still!) and I have been wearing them loads. I love pairing them with one of many of my blouses. Here I have paired it with an oversized lace blouse that I got during the pandemic from H&M which I hadn’t yet had a change to wear. For an added cool girl vibe I wore this outfit with my Dr. Marten’s. And we all know I love a good dress, so when I spotted this red ditsy floral print one from Monki, I knew it was exactly what I needed.

For outfits 3 and 4 I am showing you two outfits I wore in July. One I wore to go to the doctor’s to get my back checked out. Dresses were a life saver during the week I could barely move as putting on trousers already caused me so much agony. The second dress I wore to a birthday party (yes we have some social gatherings again!) and it is one of my favorites. Both dresses I bought years apart from UO and I love both. They do some of the best floral dresses in my opinion.

Outfit 6: top (Topshop), jeans (Levi’s cropped straight leg), shoes (Vans)
These are two very casual outfits I wore during my summer break. Just jeans and nice top is a good way of categorizing my style I think. I love both of these tops as I find the colors and shapes very flattering and they both add a bit of color. I hope to show you all of my jeans in next Sunday’s video, so stay tuned if you want the full low down on the different styles of jeans I own, why and which ones are my favorites.

The final two outfits I wore to work after summer break. I busted out this fun polka dot shirt which I made more casual by pairing it with jeans and sneakers. The next outfit is a bit dressier. I finally got to wear this blazer which I bought over a year ago, but hadn’t had a change to wear just yet. Sadly, it started falling apart on me as I was wearing it. The garment was just a bit too old, even though it makes for a fun pop of something in this entire outfit.
