How I Wash my Brushes

how to wash your makeup brushes

How do you clean your makeup brushes? I try to keep it simple and spend as little time on it as possible. I don’t keep a huge brush collection and like using the same brushes over and over. I am not that person who keeps many brushes to get them all dirty and then having to wash a bunch of them. No, I am someone who uses the same 10 brushes everyday and so I can usually get the job done quite quickly. Here’s how I do it.

I had some special shampoo for them that I never used. After I saw this video, I went to Amazon and purchased the Real Techniques brush cleaning palette. It looks easy to use! I tried to get the Dr. Bronner’s, but they only had super big sizes and I didn’t want to spend that much. I might have some of that other shampoo left. Great video, I was wondering how you get them so clean.
