Today, winter has really hit Holland, with subzero temperatures that feel even lower due to a nasty North Eastern wind that’s blowing at a nice pace. There is only one song that can warm you up when it’s this cold:
What I dislike about cold weather is the snow. I like it, as long as I don’t have to go anywhere. Sadly, I had to go places every single day and my entire town has been changed into a slippery slide. By now, the snow is frozen to the ground and has formed a nice sheet of ice that will guarantee at least several smack downs with the ground.
I don’t mind the cold, but I do do everything to stay warm. So I bought some new boots yesterday and I have a nice warm hat and gloves so that helps. At home I wear my comfy sweatpants and some nice warm woolen socks. So yes, I’m ready for winter! Are you?
