So I came up with something new for my little space on the web. I have decided to create a fall/ winter lookbook. I spent all Sunday afternoon scouring my wardrobe for on trend outfits for the current season. I managed to come up with 15 different looks that I think are all part of this season’s trends, but also part of my personal taste in clothes and styling. These are all outfits that I would wear or that I have worn already. Instead of actually showing you all outfits in one go, I have decided to pace it rather neatly. 15 outfits = 1 outfit per week. So after 15 weeks, the lookbook will be complete. With light being scarce on work days, I will be having more and more trouble making outfit posts and so I thought I’d grab the chance and shoot some pictures while I could.
Today features the first installment: Acid rust. I hope you enjoy and let me know what you think of my idea for creating a look book.

What I’m wearing:
– Chunky rust colored knit sweater with front pockets (H&M)
– Acid wash skinnies (H&M Divided)
– Grey tank (H&M)
– Black platform with wooden heel (Sacha)

Chunky rust colored knit
I bought this sweater last year during the mid season sale. It’s baggy, it’s chunky, it’s a knit. So even though this is a last season item, this is still right on the money for this year’s fall/ winter trends. I love the wooden look to the buttons and also the pockets are a nice detail. I rolled up the sleeves because else it looks like I’m drowning in it.

Necklace with toy horse pendant (Pieces)
Another sale item. I found this necklace on sale at half price also around last year’s mid season or summer sale. It’s too cute and I love how it’s more of a toy horse than a real horse.

Black platform with wooden heel (Sacha)
I posted a shoplog on Monday showing these shoes. They are the latest addition to my shoe collection. They give me quite a bit of height as they have a 13 cm heel and a 3 cm platform. I went with these shoes as the wooden heel ties in with the wooden look of the buttons on the cardigan.
Again full outfit:

I hope you enjoyed this first installment of my fall/ winter 2012 lookbook. And remember: there will be a post like this every week for the next 3+ months.
